After harvesting, the coconuts are transported to the packing facility (the time between harvesting and processing is 1-2 days).
- Select the best raw materials.
- Shave the coconut and husk it to create a diamond shape.
- The final product has a flat bottom, round body, and pyramid-shaped top.
- To prevent browning and mold growth on the husk surface, coconuts are soaked in a 3-5% sodium metabisulfite solution for 5-15 minutes. They are then dried naturally at room temperature (about 23-26°C) for no more than 2 hours in the drying area. The drying area or quality control room is separated by yellow PVC strip curtains and has an insect control system. After this, the coconuts are transferred from the quality control room to the packing area.
- Wrap with shrink film (food grade) and apply the brand label.
- The finished products are packed in cartons and stored in a cold room at 15-18°C. Typically, the final products are transferred to a container on the same day, ready for shipment.
- The finished products are inspected and placed into a refrigerated container with a controlled temperature of 2-5°C, followed by checking the loading of the container before export to customers. (The production and loading time is 2-3 days).
